Lisa B. Lia ,Esq., the President of JL Brady, is licensed to practice law in New York and Florida, and maintains real estate licenses in both states. With over twenty years of litigation and transactional experience, Mrs. Lia is able to view real estate deals through a unique legal lens and excels at forecasting and managing legal risk. Mrs. Lia prides herself on her ability to think critically, to understand complicated transactions, and to provide innovative solutions to real estate challenges. Mrs. Lia is actively involved in the local real estate market, and regularly analyzes and advises on potential real estate investments.
A New York native, Mrs. Lia graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University and magna cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law, where she was an editor on the Law Review. As an associate at several prominent international law firms, Mrs. Lia practiced complex corporate litigation on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions. Mrs. Lia also served as an attorney for the New York State Office of the Attorney General, and then spent several years as a solo practitioner, where she put her superior skills to work for individuals and small businesses. The culmination of that experience, coupled with her strong work ethic and commitment to the success of every deal she touches, continue to serve her clients and development partners well.

Justin M. Lia manages the firm's commercial real estate group. His career in commercial real estate began twenty-five years ago on a construction site, and it has given him the opportunity to learn every aspect of the business.
Mr. Lia has worked as a contractor, a construction inspector, an estimator, a project manager, a design engineer, a forensic engineer, a due diligence advisor, a real estate investor, and now a real estate salesperson.
On all levels, Mr. Lia has assisted each client to navigate transactions from the simplest NNN pad sites, to the most complicated trophy mixed use properties, and everything in between. Mr. Lia's experience in acquisitions, dispositions, capital planning, lease consulting, and construction on all asset types, in all price ranges, has provided him with a unique perspective that he leverages for our clients on every exchange. Mr. Lia has represented clients ranging from high net worth individuals to the world’s largest companies (including five of the top 10 on the Fortune 500 List).
